Login in Horizon
Horizon is OpenStack’s web‑based user interface. Here you can perform all administration tasks related to your OpenStack project that might not be possible in the MyNWS interface.
Direct Login
Login is possible directly via the browser. The address is cloud.netways.de.
For the login you can use either the NWS‑ID (NWS‑ID) or the project user (OpenStack Project User).
Login with NWS ID
If you want to log in with your NWS ID, select NWS‑ID in the dropdown menu on the login screen and click Sign In.
You will be redirected to the NWS‑ID login page, where you can log in as usual with your MyNWS credentials (including passkey or 2FA).
Afterwards you will be forwarded to Horizon.
Project selection after login
Your NWS‑ID may be authorized for multiple projects. After logging into Horizon, make sure you are in the correct project context.
The project context is selected via a dropdown menu in the header of the Horizon user interface.
Login with the OpenStack Project User
If you want to log in with the OpenStack project user, select OpenStack Project User in the dropdown menu on the login screen and enter the user credentials.
After clicking Sign In you will be taken to Horizon and will be placed directly in the correct project context of the OpenStack project user.
Setting up an OpenStack Project User
The OpenStack project user must be activated in MyNWS before first use. This process also reveals the project user’s credentials. The password can be changed at any time.
