Domain Settings
Subdomain
In the Managed Services menu in MyNWS, click on the app and select Domain Settings. Then select the CNAME tab and enter the desired subdomain.
Customer Domain
First, configure your domain with a CNAME record pointing to gitlab.saas.netways.cloud or an A record pointing to 193.142.157.137.
In the Managed Services menu in MyNWS, click on the app and select Domain Settings. Then open the Custom Domain tab and enter the desired domain.
A Let's Encrypt certificate will be requested and then integrated.
Changing the Name of the GitLab Instance
In the Managed Services menu in MyNWS, click on the app and select Manage Contract. Here you can change the title of the GitLab instance.
Available Storage
In the Managed Services menu in MyNWS, click on the app and select Usage.
In this submenu, you can view the storage used by your GitLab instance.
OAuth Integration
Various OAuth integrations are available, such as Entra ID, ADFS, Bitbucket, and more.
In the Managed Services menu in MyNWS, click on the app and select Authentication. Then open the External authentication with OAuth tab and enter the credentials for the desired method.
Updating or Recreating Runners
If you want to recreate GitLab Runners or update them to a newer version, you can do so in MyNWS.
First, authentication tokens must be created for each runner. To create an authentication token, navigate in GitLab to Admin area > CI/CD > Runners and click on Create Instance Runner. A new dialog will open. Here, select Run untagged jobs and click on Create Runner. Finally, navigate to Authentication in the context of your GitLab app, enter the runner authentication token, and then select Update Runner.
Upgrading to a Larger Plan
In the Managed Services menu in MyNWS, click on the app and select Manage Contract.
Here you can select a new plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
Special Requirements
If the Premium Plan is not sufficient for various reasons or other requirements are needed, an individual solution based on OpenStack can be requested via sales@netways.de.
Backups
All data in GitLab is backed up every night. These backups include the configuration as well as the data stored within GitLab. Backups are retained for one day.
