Monitoring
We monitor the status of all NETWAYS Managed Kubernetes clusters 24/7.
If a control‑plane or worker node falls into an unhealthy state, an automated alert is sent to our team, which takes care of the remediation.
The nws-agent-stack
In addition, we install the nws-agent-stack in every NETWAYS Managed Kubernetes cluster.
It consists of a pod for the prometheus-agent and a pod for kube-state-metrics.
The installation of the nws-agent-stack is used to monitor the system services we manage in NETWAYS Managed Kubernetes clusters (all services in the kube-system namespace).
Changes to the nws-agent-stack
No changes may be made to the installed components of the nws-agent-stack.
Monitoring of Installed Applications
Aside from system services, we monitor no applications or third‑party services in NETWAYS Managed Kubernetes clusters.
If monitoring of installed applications is required, a separate monitoring solution must be installed in the cluster.
